The Royal Wedding Cars

It can be difficult for some to imagine, but there are a lot of people do not really have a great interest in the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, said today. Even car enthusiasts, however, there are some details that could watch the DVR recording DE marriage is worth watching.

Prince William drove an Aston Martin Volante outside Buckingham Palace with a license plate reading "JU5T true." There were more declining over Aston Martin than you see on TV. Aston Martin, which belonged to Prince Charles, runs on E85 ethanol made from English wine spills, reports Reuters. Aston Martin DB6 Volante picture in the gallery below.

A mixture of Jaguar, Rolls-Royce and Bentley provided the majority of car transport for days, even if recently married couple was followed by a Range Rover. Middleton mother was taken to Westminster Abbey in a chauffeured Jaguar. A 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI specially designed for Queen Elizabeth II was the mode of transportation to the monastery to Kate. A vehicle that appears to be similar to the Phantom VI is highlighted on the photo in black and white on the right. The Phantom VI has a 6.75-liter engine makes 200 horsepower, a lot for a vehicle that rarely travels at maximum speed. Unusually for a vehicle of the late 1970s, the Phantom has four wheel drum brakes. Given the average speed on a parade or other ceremonial occasion is less than 10 mph, brake fade is probably not a major problem.

Bentley Queen was used for the occasion as well. Both modern Bentleys was custom made with the participation of the Queen, his driver and Prince Philip, husband of Queen and grandfather of Prince William. The cars have a length overall and its wheelbase has been stretched on a fundamental Bentley Arnage. The transmission is a unit four-speed automatic transmission from General Motors and the cars have a removable exterior roof covering, revealing a bright interior, helping thousands of spectators to get a good glimpse of who is inside. They should have enough time to get a good picture, too, as cars generally travel between 3 and 9 km / h.

Hield wool fabric Umbrellas rear seats complete the blue carpet and behind the front, dark blue. Opening rear doors of cars back and allow the queen to stand before falling to the ground.

The queen also has a 1950 Rolls-Royce Phantom IV and a 1987 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI. Besides the two Bentleys, three Rolls-Royce cars, there are three Daimler (DS420 limousine is shown below), a company now owned Jaguar.

  1. Wedding is probably one of the most important days in an individual's life. In order to make it special all the preparations should be made perfect from food to decorations and from photography to the travel.
